The NS railway station sits right beneath the main Schiphol Plaza hall, offering frequent and fast train services to Amsterdam Central Station in approximately 14 to 17 minutes, running up to eight times per hour. Passengers can access platforms by escalator or lift and pay directly using a contactless debit card, credit card, or mobile phone at the yellow card readers without purchasing a physical ticket. Regional and express buses, including line 397, also connect the airport directly to key points in Amsterdam such as Museumplein and Leidseplein. Official taxis are readily available at the designated stands outside Schiphol Plaza, while rideshares and car rentals are handled through clearly marked zones.
