Getting To & From Hamad International Airport
Hamad International Airport (DOH) is connected to downtown Doha via the Doha Metro Red Line, which terminates at the airport station right outside Terminal 1; a standard one-way journey costs approximately QAR 2 and takes around 16 minutes to reach central hubs like Msheireb. Official metered Karwa taxis and authorized ride-hailing services operate from the dedicated Taxi Pavilion at the left end of the Arrivals Hall, with central Doha fares commonly ranging between QAR 40 and QAR 60. Mowasalat public bus routes also service the terminal building, connecting the airport to various urban districts.

Hamad International Airport operates out of a single large, unified terminal building divided into five connected concourses: A, B, C, D, and E. Concourse C links the older terminal sections with the newer northern expansion, which features an indoor tropical garden known as The Orchard. An internal automated monorail system operates between Concourses A/B and D/E to expedite cross-terminal transit. Because all gates reside under one roof, passengers can manage connections airside without clearing landside immigration.
