Getting To & From Dubai International Airport
Dubai International Airport (DXB) is connected to the city via the Dubai Metro Red Line, which has dedicated stations at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, running from early morning until late evening. Official metered taxis operated by the Dubai Taxi Corporation are available 24 hours a day from the arrivals curb of all terminals. Public bus routes also service the airport, connecting to various points across the city.

DXB is organized into three primary passenger terminals. Terminal 1 (featuring Concourse D) handles over 60 international carriers. Terminal 2 sits on the opposite side of the airfield and primarily serves regional and budget carriers, including flydubai. Terminal 3 (comprising Concourses A, B, and C) is exclusively dedicated to Emirates and select flydubai operations. Airside transit between Terminal 3 concourses is handled by an automated airport train or shuttle buses, taking roughly 15 to 25 minutes. Landside movement between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 can be completed via the Dubai Metro, while Terminal 2 requires a road transfer.
