Reaching downtown City Hall takes about 40 minutes with a transfer at Tanah Merah or Expo, costing under S$2. Note that regular MRT and public bus services (such as bus numbers 24, 27, 34, 36, 53, 110, and 858) do not operate overnight, with the final train departing around 11:18 PM. Taxis, private hire vehicles via apps like Grab and Gojek, and airport shuttle services operate 24 hours a day from all terminal basements, taking roughly 20 to 30 minutes to reach downtown and costing between S$20 and S$40.

Terminal 4 is physically isolated and relies on dedicated airside and landside complimentary shuttle bus services that take roughly 10 to 18 minutes. Flag carrier Singapore Airlines primarily uses Terminals 2 and 3, while international carriers are distributed across all four facilities.
