Air Peace is bringing its pilot training under one roof. The carrier recently hosted executives from Dutch Aviation Trainers at its Lagos headquarters to build out new instruction frameworks for its Boeing 737 NG fleet, aiming for tighter operational consistency across all routes.

This isn't a fresh start. DAT already runs type-rating and training programs for the airline's Embraer E1 and E2 jets. Bringing Boeing hardware into the same system lets both sides align crew standards from top to bottom.

The Track Record Behind the Contract

Dutch Aviation Trainers brings significant pedigree to the room. The organization specializes in both Boeing and Embraer platforms, running programs for major global operators including KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Uruguay's AMAS Airlines.

DAT builds comprehensive type-rating courses designed around high technical proficiency. For Air Peace, tapping into that operational depth cuts out trial-and-error, embedding tested international standards directly into daily operations.

During the talks in Lagos, Air Peace's Chairman and CEO emphasized that human capital remains the airline's biggest priority. Continuous safety investments and rigorous training form the foundation of their long-term strategy. As West Africa's largest carrier expands its fleet across domestic, regional, and international routes, sharp flight deck preparation isn't optional—it's essential.
