That changes on April 1, 2026, when Nigerian carrier Air Peace rolls out a major overhaul of its regional schedule. The airline is tightening timetables and syncing connections across seven key destinations: Lagos, Abidjan, Dakar, Banjul, Accra, Monrovia, and Freetown.

It's a deliberate play to anchor Lagos as the primary gateway linking West and Central Africa to the rest of the world. For traders, tourists, and business travellers moving across the sub-region, those smoother connections promise far simpler itineraries.

The New Weekly Rotations, Broken Down

The updated network relies on predictable multi-stop loops. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, a long-haul circuit stretches from Lagos out to Banjul, sweeping back through Dakar and Abidjan before touching down in Nigeria by evening.

Come Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, that run shifts to a direct Lagos-Abidjan-Dakar turnaround. Meanwhile, coastal capitals get dedicated aircraft: those same four days feature hops from Lagos to Accra and onward to Monrovia. Headed to Freetown? Fly on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday for a mirror route touching down in Sierra Leone via Ghana.
