Delta Update: Live Sport 24 Coming to Overseas Flights

Crossing an ocean doesn't mean missing kickoff anymore. Starting this fall, Delta Air Lines is partnering with IMG to stream live sports through Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra on its international long-haul routes.

That means travelers won't have to trade marquee matchups for a quiet cabin at 35,000 feet. The feeds stream directly to your phone, tablet, or laptop through the free Delta Sync Wi-Fi platform, bringing in real-time coverage for the NFL, English Premier League, Formula 1, UEFA Champions League, and grand slam tennis tournaments.

Unlike traditional seatback screens that rely on legacy satellite systems—and notoriously spotty oceanic signals—this setup taps straight into Delta's upgraded fast-free Wi-Fi network. SkyMiles members simply log their personal devices into the Delta Sync portal to watch continuous live broadcasts without paying extra fees.

The rollout starts later this fall across transatlantic and transpacific flights equipped with the new connectivity package. As Delta finishes fitting high-speed Wi-Fi across its entire long-haul fleet, overseas flyers will finally stay plugged into live action from takeoff to landing.
