Frontier isn't pumping the brakes on its Western network expansion. Come September 10, the budget airline starts flying nonstop between Boise (BOI) and Las Vegas (LAS), carving out another cheap corridor for Mountain West travelers.
To launch the route, Frontier is dangling $49 introductory one-way fares. Coming right on the heels of its recently announced Oakland service, the Boise connection broadens the carrier's late-summer push—a clear sign that ultra-low-cost competition into Nevada is heating up fast.
You can already view flight schedules on Frontier's site. Don't expect those teaser rates to stick around without advance booking, and keep the usual low-cost caveats in mind: you'll pay extra for carry-on bags, checked luggage, and picking your own seat. Even so, extra capacity and cheap fares are good news for Pacific Northwest and Mountain West locals eyeing an early fall escape.
