Frontier Airlines is putting SpaceX's Starlink WiFi across its entire fleet, bringing usable broadband to budget flyers. More Than 1,000 Planes Are Getting Upgraded

Frontier's parent firm, Indigo Partners, is coordinating a global deal across its entire portfolio: Wizz Air in Europe, Volaris in Mexico, JetSMART in South America, and Cebu Pacific in the Philippines are all part of the push. Together, these ultra-low-cost carriers plan to equip more than 1,000 aircraft with the new hardware. Bill Franke, managing partner at Indigo Partners, points out that the joint commitment represents one of the largest global rollouts of next-generation connectivity in aviation history.

Bargain hunters get more than just better WiFi out of the deal.
